Spring is a time of rejuvenation and rebirth, a natural time of cleansing to cast off the dregs of winter. From the melting of snow and emergence of tulips, to cleaning our homes and gardens, to the holidays of Easter and the Spring Equinox, everything is casting off the remnants of the past so life may renew. In Yoga and Ayurveda, spring is considered one of the best times to purify the body, mind and heart and restore vitality. After all that has transpired in over the last three years, we’ve never been more in need of an opportunity to cleanse and renew. Our annual cleanse is offered in-person (in Minneapolis) or virtually, and can be adapted to meet your individual needs. We invite you to join us and see how good a spring cleanse feels!
The Cleanse Will Include:
- Opening + Closing Workshops (April 29 and May 13, from 1-3:30) consisting of teachings, holistic yoga practice, personal reflection and group discussion.
- Recordings of the workshops. If you are unable to attend either of the workshops, you can still receive the audio and video recordings to participate in the cleanse.
- Structured cleanse guidance including diet, lifestyle, yoga and self-care practices, which can be adapted to meet your individual needs.
- Yoga practices for physical, mental, emotional and energetic purification and rejuvenation.
- Daily inspirations and practices to to support your cleanse.
- Virtual support through readings, A/V files, practices and recipes for cleansing the body, mind and heart.
- Weekly check-ins for support and personal guidance.

Spring is a time of cleansing, renewal and rebirth. As the days get longer and warmer, the dregs of winter melt away, the Earth thaws, and the flowers and animal life begin to stir! Human life is no different. Many observe the transition to spring through time-tested rituals: Spring cleaning, Lent, tending and planting the garden and tuning-up bicycles. Yet how many of make a conscious effort to cleanse and rejuvenate our bodies, minds and energy? The changing of the seasons is an auspicious time for reflection, honoring the cycles of life and transformation. This day long retreat is an opportunity to do just that – a guided process integrating tools, teachings and practices for cleansing, revitalization, and bringing new life forth. The retreat will include:
- Practices appropriate for Spring (Asana, Pranayama, Meditation)
- Dharma Talk, Q + A
- Receive Guidelines + Resources for Ayurvedic Spring Cleanse

Advanced Yoga Studies & Self-Transformation Program …begins September 2013.
This unique 9-month program is intended for all sincere students and teachers, looking to deepen their experience and understanding of Yoga. Through personal and group study and practice, students will be guided on a transformative journey of healing, self-discovery and empowerment. The Koshas: Layers of Being Humans are multidimensional beings. The ancient yogis experienced being human as composed of 5 Koshas (layers/sheaths) which encompass the Atman (True-Self).
